This section highlights the team’s innovative work on the Ducati X Diavel S ‘Sabretooth’, Ducati Panigale ‘Eternity’, and BMW R nineT ‘Aurora’, conceptualized by M. Doruk Erdem, were brought into reality by the team at GB Motobike.

Blending narrative with functionality.

The logo for the ‘Sabretooth’ concept was designed to be much more than just an emblem. I meticulously crafted it to reflect the dynamic spirit of the motorcycle, ensuring seamless integration with its unique narrative. Special attention was given to its scalability and clarity across different mediums, allowing it to maintain its distinct character in every application.

Transforming concepts into reality.

During the development of the Ducati X Diavel S ‘Sabretooth’, I played a crucial role in the hands-on production of clay models and fiberglass molds.

This phase combined traditional craftsmanship with modern production techniques. Shaping the clay models required meticulous attention to detail — every curve, every surface needed to align perfectly with the original design vision.

Transitioning from clay to fiberglass was a critical step in bringing the concept to life. I worked closely with the team to ensure absolute precision in the mold fabrication process, translating the conceptual vision into a tangible, physical form. The level of craftsmanship in this stage directly influenced the final quality of the motorcycle.

Once the fiberglass fairings were produced, we moved into the final refinement stages. Together with the team, I contributed to a series of precise adjustments and surface enhancements, each detail adding to the bike’s distinctive character.

The result was the striking form of ‘Sabretooth’ as it stands today — a true testament to the synergy of artistry, precision, and technical excellence.

Harmonizing classical artistry with modern technology.

In the development of the ‘Eternity’ and ‘Aurora’ projects, we pushed the boundaries of traditional techniques through detailed clay modeling. As the designs evolved, the need to prototype increasingly intricate parts introduced new challenges.

To meet these demands, I took the initiative to modify and customize a Hypercube EVO 3D printer by SCOTT_3D. My goal was to align the machine with the specific technical needs and budget constraints of the projects.

Over an intense two-week period — and a few sleepless nights — I carried out a series of technical adjustments and optimizations.

The result was a bespoke 3D printing solution that dramatically enhanced our team’s ability to rapidly prototype and iterate complex design concepts. This modification became a key factor in maintaining our momentum and meeting tight project deadlines.

Through the collaborative efforts of the entire GB Motobike team — and the personal contributions I made in design, prototyping, and production — the Ducati X Diavel S “Sabretooth,” Ducati Panigale “Eternity,” and BMW R nineT “Aurora” concepts were proudly showcased at the prestigious Motobike Istanbul 2019 event.

This event served not only as a platform to present our creations but also as a testament to the craftsmanship, innovation, and relentless passion that drove every stage of the projects.
